It depends heavily on what “results” means to you, but most experienced trainers and camps converge on a similar answer: a stay of at least two to four weeks is where you start seeing real, durable change, while anything under a week mostly just gets you through acclimation.

A short trip — three to five days — is enough to sample the training style, meet coaches, and get a feel for whether a camp is right for you, but it’s not enough time to build new conditioning or meaningfully improve technique. Your body is still adjusting to the heat and the volume of training by the time you’re packing to leave. A one- to two-week stay is the minimum for genuine progress: you’ll likely notice better movement quality, slightly improved conditioning, and the first signs of technical adaptation, especially if you’ve never trained at this volume before.

Where things really shift is the one-month mark and beyond. A month of consistent twice-daily training, even at a beginner-to-intermediate intensity, produces visible changes in body composition, cardiovascular capacity, and skill — this is the range most camps quietly design their packages around, since pricing per day drops sharply for month-long stays. Athletes specifically training for an event (a fight, a HYROX race, an erg test) often plan their trip length backward from race day, building in enough weeks to peak without overtraining into the event.

The variable that matters most isn’t actually time — it’s consistency once you’re there. Two weeks of fully committed two-a-days will outperform six weeks of inconsistent training mixed with heavy sightseeing and late nights. Decide your goal first, then let that determine both your trip length and your daily training structure.
